Anne Helgesen (b. 1955) dr. art in theatre science, Norwegian writer, researcher, actress, puppeteer and director. She has written children’s books, biographies, and books about theatre and literature. She is also a playwright and has written dramas both for her own puppet company, Kattas Figurteater Ensemble and for other theatres.

Her last published book was «Bokken Lasson. Neste dag stod hun like fornøiet» - biography about a Norwegian singer and actress who became star in Germany and then formed her own artistic cabaret Chat Noir in Kristiania (Oslo). Helgesen is now working on a manuscript for a modern cabaret using material from the old one, calling it «Chat Noir reborn».
The performance is scheduled to open in February 2015.
