Tuuli Lempa is a versatile pianist who also uses live electronics in her artistic work. She has been working with several composers and premiered music for piano and live electronics. She also works together with professional singers and instrumentalists in different chamber ensembles as well as plays solo recitals. Subjects like mystic and sublime inspires her and often are the common denominator in her different projects. 


In addition to the work as a pianist she composes electroacoustic music, which she has studied in the University of York. Electroacoustic elements and live electronic effects are present in her own compositions, too. During the residency period in Rome she will be working with the musical ideas which are linked to Francis of Assisi, who lived in Umbria, Italy in the 1100-Century.
