Dan Skjæveland (1987) is a Norwegian photographer based in Trondheim, Norway. His work primarily revolves around the role context plays in our reading of images and his work has been exhibited in a number of institutions in Norway - most recently at the new National Museum's opening exhibition (2022).  He functioned as a primary researcher on the Garry Winogrand documentary All Things Are Photographable, and was heavily involved in the book project Bill Dane Pictures ...it's not pretty, published in August 2020. The work produced during his residency in Rome will be included in an upcoming show at Hå Gamle Prestegard (fall 2022).
