Stella Parland is a writer, born in Helsinki. Her literary work includes the nonsensical bestiary Gnatto Pakpak (Söderströms, Finland, 2010) and the nano novel Glossarium över förgätna fejder (House of Foundation, Norway, 2011).
For the stage she has written the puppet piece Kautschuk (2006) and the Dada inspired cabaret Kalla kalkon (2009). She has often been collaborating with illustrator Linda Bondestam and musician Janek Öller, and occasionally ends up performing poetry in inexpected ways on stage.
She holds an MA in History and Scandinavian Literature from the University of Helsinki, part of her studies completed at the Università degli Studi di Bologna.
