Eero Hämeenniemi (1951-) is a Finnish composer and writer. He has composed music in all the important genres of Western music, except opera. Hämeenniemi has also worked with jazz musicians, and he directs his own ensemble, Nada, in which he is the pianist.

In recent years Eero has collaborated with many leading classical carnatic musicians from Southern India, including Guru Karaikkudi Mani, Bombay Jayashri and Flute Shashank. He has written seven books on music and India, and a novella on the early Christian Roman thinker and bishop, St. Calixtus (San Calisto).
