I am a saxophonist, composer and jazz artist who has worked around the globe for some 15+ years now. I got my official education mostly in my hometown Helsinki, at the Sibelius Academy (The University of the Arts), with some time also abroad while studying. I hold a Master's Degree in Jazz Performance and a Cum laude in Education (Helsinki University) and I have also made further studies since my degree. 

In my career I have had several full-time teaching posts (as a Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Principal Lecturer) in universities in Finland and on top of my artistic career playing in concert halls, clubs, festivals (around 2000 concerts worldwide) etc I have also done master classes and workshops in over 60 music universities, colleges and conservatories in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. 

I look very much to spending time at the Circolo and I am sure the stay will strengthen my connections with the music and arts scene in Italy and I'm hoping to find new artistic and professional connections and making lots of new friends!

I'm into cooking and social eatings, parties and gatherings and I'm sure there'll be time and opportunities for such at Circolo!
